| I have two sheet music books from the seventies. One shows Mike as the author of Twilight Time and the other shows Ray Thomas. Anyone know why? |

Ray sings it, I'd assume he had the most to do with it. Maybe it was co-written ........... on the first album, they did it "as one entity" and put the name of "Redwave" on it as a communal thing. This was not uncommon back then, as a band would typically all kick in on a song. Uhmm the doors did the same, I think their first album credits "all music by the Doors"...... and if you've seen the Doors movie where they are putting together "Light My Fire" that's probably pretty close to the real event when it was written.
Maybe Ray and Mike both copyrighted it under different companies! |

| Mike's is copyrighted 1968 & 1972 by the Sparta Florida Music Group, Ray's is 1968 & 1974 by Essex Music International. It's odd to have the same song copyrighted by two different composers with three different dates. If they both wrote it then the logical explanation would be that one sold it to the other, in this case Mike owned it in 1972 and sold it to Ray in 1974. I've seen the Doors music listed by individual by composer on sheet music, but this is odd. I mean, Light My Fire didn't change from a Krieger composition to a Morrison composition. |

Hmm! Interesting! One more Moody mystery............. thank you for being dedicated, I was too darn lazy to get up and walk across the room and pull the sheet music off the shelf!
Some of the sheet music was published in different song books too, maybe that relates. |

| Yup. Mike and Justin arranged their parts. Lyrics and basic melody by Ray. Wonder if they locked him in the cupboard on that one too? |

LOL I read somewhere that one of them had a backstop against the Cupboard and got in knife throwing practice against it! They had dart boards too. The studio might have been a dangerous place to walk into unannounced!!! |

Lunar Crepuscular rays
Crepuscular rays (pronounced /krɪˈpʌskyələr/), in atmospheric optics, are rays of sunlight that appear to radiate from a single point in the sky. These rays, which stream through gaps in clouds or between other objects, are columns of sunlit air separated by darker cloud-shadowed regions. The name comes from their frequent occurrences during crepuscular hours (those around dawn and dusk), when the contrasts between light and dark are the most obvious.
BASED ON THE TWO AFOREMENTIONED DEFINITIONS, ITS CLEAR THAT THIS SONG IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE RAY'S |
