Hello everyone,

Ray and I wanted to thank you for the wonderful emails of love and condolence coming to us in response to our Newsletter.

Both Ray and I have found your words and sentiments about Tony, us and the music very beautiful and comforting.

Thank you.

We are going to compile a Tribute Book for Tony's family out of your heartfelt emails. Please continue to send your emails to us at postbox@mikepinder.com

We will read them all and build a Tribute Book of love for Tony.

Mike

Of all the gifts that humans share with each other, music is undoubtedly among the finest.

Back in the late 1960's, six men joined together to make music that, together, transcended by far what they were capable of doing as individuals. Mike Pinder. Justin Hayward. Ray Thomas. John Lodge. Graeme Edge. And Tony Clarke. The Moody Blues awakened my young teen-age heart and mind to beauty. The depths of my gratitude for this gift knows no bounds.

Tony Clarke's legacy will live on forever in vinyl and aluminum and computer bytes. Tony's legacy will also live on in the lives of those so deeply touched by the music of the Moody Blues, and the sharing of this music with our children, and their children, and our children's children's children.

The Moodies' gift of music has made them friends to many, even those who have never met them personally, yet met them nevertheless each time we placed on our headphones and become an essential part of the experience of music: the listener. I mourn the loss of Tony Clarke, someone who has so richly blessed my life.

God bless Tony Clarke. Deep peace of the son of peace to you, my friend.
