Ah! Here we go again, eh? Round #...? starring: the "Everlasting" Tour Band Laughing

Riddle Solved....

Q: What do Moodies like to eat? A: Energizer Bunnies! Wink

I think Ft Myers cuts it close, if not right on it Smile

well there's other rumors, like of them playing at Vault 350 in Long Beach, CA and of playing at Foxwoods too. Or maybe Nashville. All totally speculation, or 98% anyway..........

If fans of the group had the option of:

a) The group retiring from performing & recording
b) The group touring, but *not* recording (current state)
c) The group recording new music, but *not* touring
d) The group recording new music, and only touring after the new music is released

... I'd bet many would be perfectly happy with the current state.

Since (c) and (d) are probably not going to happen, the real choice is between (a) and (b).

Would folks here *really* want them just to retire completely?

I still go to see a Moodies show every 2 or 3 years. Whether I go to see them again or not, I'm happy that others still get to see them... many kids and grandkids for the first time. It helps the music live on.

Fully agree. It's like the TV, if you don't like what's on, then turn if off. There's a choice. I wouldn't like to rain on anyone's parade and everyone should have a chance to see them in concert, if that's what the MB's what to keep doing it.

Personally, I would rather see them retire if nothing new is going to come along, but as I said previously, I can just choose not to go.....

you all found the tour, right? www.moodybluestoday.com right on the front page, and some VIP packages alleged to be coming up with it.

Right now I'm thinking of doing Atlanta, Asheville, Norfolk and DC... and I have committed to nothing yet. Just a vacation, doing lots of other things along the way.

I'd love to meet if you find time, Beethoven...... I met a couple of gals on here last year, and we chatted in Oklahoma a bit. Nice folks, honestly. Then they ditched me <sad face> so I must warn you, I'm probably a horrible person in Reality Laughing

Ditto...and I must tell you, I have a bad habit of making up my own mind, so if do we get to meet, I'll decide which is right and which is "wildest imagination" Laughing

winter is halfway into old season right now, and spring is in the thoughts, although not in the air...the "time" approacheth, and I am firming up some warm and breezy plans Cool

cheers

well this Spring I'm doing DC, Atlanta, and Nor-fok...... still toying with doing Charleston and Charlotte.

A friend of mine lives in the Columbia area, and he says Charleston is sorta dodgy at night........... trying to drag him with me. A Soul brother if not a soul mate, good friend.

anyway if you do any of those shows, we must meet up, I'll send my cell #

I'm not just doing Moody shows, I have a lot of other fun activities planned along the way.........

*I'll be going "halfway through the middle" of the heartland, this time - let's see how it goes (I have a CP too Cool )

**I think that should strike a good balance - yes INDEED: there are other forms of entertainment-which depends on what mood one is in Very Happy

If it snows in at the specified time in March between here and where I'm planning to be, Lisa won't be going nowhere on the road (its not so much that I don't think I might be able to handle it well or badly, but that I know I can't control everyone else on the road and what THEY might do badly-a concert isn't that important even if I do have a pass to get in).

However, Mother Nature and Father Time are battling it out - and I'm hoping an early spring will be the resulting "happy medium". Cool

well I'm keeping fingers crossed that there isn't any ugly snow that time of year. But it might backfire on me. Heck Mar 21 is the first day of Spring! Sad

We were really clobbered here in Seattle last winter, and this year it's like NO snow, so weather is all up to the gods. Perhaps we should all burn incense and pray a lot..........

Hello Luna: yes bless their pointed little heads, the gods are off the hook on that note, as what a lovely

afternoon it has turned out to be-even here (I was beginning to think I'd never get to see my shadow dancing in this cold and gloomy part of the country-and its STILL nippy and damp-(have been wondering a lot lately, "why did I come back here?")

Regardless, I hope tonight's event will be a good show with no negative incidence for all gathered together for the occasion; I've relented again, with justifiable reason this time as I have just gotten off my deathbed this past week with acute bronchitis...I had planned make it, but since I won't (not my fault!) I do have a late June date lined up, on that note...we'll see how things turn out then--this may be getting to be "the joke of the century: will she or won't she?"--I am in good spirits, I send in my stead a very special unseen guest in hopes that LF-D-21 Orchestra will be a "sitting comfortably" zone for the one there in Spirit, (in a manner of speaking) though I won't guarantee it'll be the same for anyone else Twisted Evil

{{And so, once again, as for *you*, whom I shall ne'er forget-how we met: here's the sign *you* will always get from me that says, "I love *you*": }}

ooops where wuz I? (momentarily destracted at the the thought(s) of *you*)

Back on track: Luna .. hope your travels across the southland are going well and that you are enjoying every aspect of it

(I'm still taking leave this week, so I'll use this time to catch up on emails I owe a few good peeps... )

cheers

"L"

Yes I've been traveling.........

if you care to catch up, by all means you're welcome to my new newsgroup, it's at http://www.illaheematters.yuku.com

Dang that about wore me out doing that....... hope everyone enjoys it. I'll be adding to later, with old reviews, and new interests.

NOW to get caught up here! One thing I didn't put in my reviews, I personally missed the sound of a REAL Mellotron in the music, they tried to bring in a Metatron, and it just sounded like another electric piano. Time marches on I guess.

later, love to all the Pinderlings.
